Incentive Points
Incentive points are the homework for our drama classes. They must be done outside of class time. Incentive points are 20% of your grade.
Students may choose to read 2 plays and write 2 play reports every six weeks or participate at a work party on a crew or take part in a range of extra curricular activities.
You may pick from a range of projects (points) or activities (hours). 8 hours per 6 weeks or 200 points for an A grade in the incentive point section of the grade. Activities are approximately 25 points per hour.
Incentive points have two components: the activity portion where the student reads or performs and the written portion where student writes a play report or a reflection. Students must type their incentive points in a two page paper and turn it in with their notebooks every six weeks. All points must be earned during the term in which the grade is being given.
